Create West Virginia

The energy surrounding Create WV 2009 Conference and the movement to build 21st century economies in our West Virginia communities continues to build. However, we realize that not everyone has the type of job or even income that can allow them to attend. At the same time, the conference is 100% self-funded by sponsors and attendee fees, plus countless volunteer and in-kind sponsor hours.

For two years, Create WV has gathered leaders and interested citizens from business, education, government, non-profit and arts/cultural worlds together to talk about this thing called the "new economy." To our surprise and delight, the response has been overwhelming, with 254 attendees at the first conference at Stonewall Jackson Resort and 395 last year at Snowshoe Mountain Resort.

The people of West Virginia are hungry for a new approach to growth.
