We're often asked at Create WV if the concepts behind building creative communities for the new economy are truly applicable to rural counties. Our answwer is an emphatic Yes!, and it's not just about stimulating a farmer's market or an arts festival (although those are great things to do).

WV Living Marketplace coming to Pocahontas County !!
Create Pocahontas, a county wide resource and social networking group, will host WV Living Magazine and WV Living Marketplace at an upcoming gathering at the Snowshoe Mountain Career Center on April 28, 2010 at 4:00.
WV Living Magazine will be opening WV Living Marketplace at Snowshoe Mountain. Located in the Village at Snowshoe the store will bring the magazine to life by showcasing West Virginia made products to the half million people who visit the resort every year. Unique, modern West Virginia products will be featured at the WV Living Marketplace.
Guest Speakers: Nikki Bowman, Publisher and Editor of WV Living Magazine and co-owner of WV Living Marketplace along with Marketplace Business partner, Parween Sultany Mascari.
