Studies show that young people and professional people value diversity and want to live where they can enjoy diverse cultural offerings — and that includes hip-hop.
West Virginia, being the least ethnically diverse state in the nation, struggles with its image in the area of diversity and the state’s low percentage of a diverse population makes it difficult to attract different cultural and entertainment options. Cool. I see hip hop is still getting its come up'ns in the WV. Yall even got a few under your belt. I believe it won't be too long, though. Another 5 or 10 and someone might hit it big from there. Hey, look how long it took VA to get on the map.
